VLADAN BĚHAL, born in 1976 lives and works partly in Olomouc (Czech Republic) where he was born and partly in Florence (Italy). He was initiatly attracted by the art of blacksmithing, in which he get a degree in the Czech Republic and a certification in Venice (Italy).
After that he studied in Zlín at the School of Fine Arts and graduated in Fine Arts at the University of Palacky in Olomouc (CZ). . After some years dedicated to blacksmithing he project art interiors and furniture that he himself creates. He cooperates with several companies producing interiors and arts, as well as with czech and foreign architects. He creates his works by request so he can follow the single and special needs of each client. .
His art works are produced with only exclusive natural materials such as iron, stone, glass and wood. . The author develops a very individual way the final treatments of the iron surfaces using oxidation, patina and sandblasting which provide to his objects a very expressive and original appearance.
About our firm:
Our workshop works in two similar areas.
The first of that is projecting of interiors nad its original accsesories as tables,chairs,beds,vases,art fire-places,lights and so on.Every project is original and comes realized in attention to practical and estetical values of it. The original touch of our products is given by an interesting combinations of natural materials.
The second area of our production is artistic craftwork of iron,based on the classic technics of blacksmithing.We create bars,railings,gates,shop-signes and artistic objects for interiors and exteriors as statues and monuments are.Instead of the classic blacksmith work our products are original and diferent because of its modern and geometrical shapes.In this way we work most of all with iron,but also with brass,cuprum and inox.
